Background:
Publication and Communication is one of CEDAC's program which was created since 1998, one year later after forming CEDAC. CEDAC has been working on disseminating the information related to Farmers’ good practices in sustainable agriculture, CEDAC's development program activities, agriculture, environment and natural resources though its Newsletter and bulletin. Since January, 1999, CEDAC has published its annual bulletin for the development of small farming households in Cambodia by recording the good practices and initiatives of farmers from one are so that the farmer in other area/provinces could try to follow.
Farmer Magazine:
Farmers’ good practices in sustainable agriculture are documented and distributed through Kasekor [Farmer Magazine] which has been published by CEDAC since January 1999. 500 copies per month were initially published. Production is now 7,000 copies per month, and the magazine is distributed throughout Cambodia. In addition, CEDAC also produces a booklet series, called Farmer and Nature, to document and disseminate selected practices in sustainable agriculture.

The main purpose of this program is to ensure that referencing, learning, and information materials on ecological agriculture and local development are readily available in the Khmer language for farmers and stakeholders who are interested in farming.
